Supported devices
Two things have to be true: the phone supports eSIM, and it is not locked to a carrier. If you bought it outright or it is fully paid off, it is usually unlocked.

How to check in 30 seconds
On iPhone, open Settings, then General, then About, and scroll to the bottom. If you see an entry for EID, the phone supports eSIM.
On most Android phones, dial *#06# on the keypad. If an EID appears alongside the IMEI numbers, the phone supports eSIM.
Carrier locks
A phone bought on a contract or instalment plan may be locked to the carrier that sold it, which prevents any other SIM or eSIM from working. Carriers will normally unlock it once the contract is paid off, usually free of charge.
Phones sold in mainland China before 2024 generally have eSIM disabled in firmware even when the hardware supports it. Those models cannot use a Simvito eSIM.
Not sure about your model
Send the exact model number and where you bought the phone to support@simvito.com and we will check before you pay. This is faster than buying and finding out afterwards.
