Install an eSIM on Samsung Galaxy or Google Pixel

Check the device and the start rule

Use the device compatibility page to check your exact model, sales region and whether it’s carrier-unlocked.

Check when the plan’s validity starts. If it starts when installed, install after you arrive. A plan that starts at first connection can be installed early, where your phone’s regional rules allow it.

Samsung Galaxy

1. Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM. Older software may say SIM card manager or Add mobile plan.
2. Choose Scan QR code, scan the code from your order and follow the download prompts. Restart only if the phone asks.
3. In SIM manager, name the line and select it for mobile data when you’re ready to connect.

Google Pixel

1. Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM → Set up an eSIM.
2. Scan the QR code from your order when prompted. If your menus look different, follow Google’s guides linked below.
3. When the phone asks you to set your SIM preferences, choose the travel eSIM for mobile data, and if it asks you to label your SIMs, name this one Simvito. Calls and texts can stay on your usual number. To change it later, go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs and tap Mobile data.

The QR code is on this phone

• Install directly

  On this phone, open the eSIM in My eSIMs, tap Install eSIM and follow the system prompts. If your phone doesn’t support this, enter the details manually.

• From a screenshot (Pixel)

  Screenshot or save the QR code, tap Scan from photo on the scan screen and pick the image.

• Enter it manually

  On Pixel, tap “Try these troubleshooting steps” under the title on the scan screen, then Enter activation code. On Samsung, tap Enter activation code on the scan screen. Copy and paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your order exactly as shown.

• From another screen

  Open the QR code on a computer or another phone and scan it with this one.

Keep home data off

Turn on the Simvito SIM, select it for mobile data and turn on roaming for it. This eSIM connects abroad through partner networks and won’t load data with roaming off. Turn off roaming and automatic data switching on your home SIM; many phones set mobile data, calls and texts separately.

Turn off Wi-Fi and open a webpage to test.

Keep the eSIM once installed

Don’t delete the eSIM while troubleshooting: each QR code installs once.
