Choosing an eSIM for the UK
These 23 plans use EE, O2, and Three; none uses Vodafone. Vodafone and Three merged into VodafoneThree in May 2025 but still run as two brands. Opensignal's January 2026 UK report (October to December 2025 data) gave EE the most awards, Three the fastest 5G speeds and O2 the best coverage experience.
23 plans don't name a single exit country: some list France, the Netherlands or the UK as possible exits, others none. If you need a UK IP address, check “IP exit” in the plan details before buying.
EE also sells its own data-only visitor eSIM, priced on its website. Plans here let you choose the network, and multi-country Europe plans cover the UK too if you're arriving from mainland Europe.
On the Tube, signal depends on the station, not on the eSIM: in June 2026 TfL said around 60% of underground stations had 4G and 5G on all four networks, with the whole network due by the end of 2026.

Can I install the same eSIM on a second phone?
